Like Family is a brand new creative collaboration between Sasha Levinson, a commercial directing veteran renowned for her honest, lush narratives, and Julia Goolia, the whimsical and inspiring home chef, content creator, and YouTube darling whose infectious charm and culinary wit have earned her over 6 million followers across multiple social platforms. The two met on set and connected instantly, just like…well, Like Family. And so, they conspired to build a powerhouse directing team that could serve brands a supersized helping of premium advertising with a social punch. Sasha’s globally impactful projects with the likes of Serena Williams, The City of Las Vegas and the Dalai Lama, are a perfectly modern fusion with Julia's seriously whimsical style and her viral intuition, as displayed in her work with brands like Blue Apron, The Hard Rock Cafe, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not, for whom she created a grilled cheese volcano with tomato soup lava, for their hundredth anniversary. Like Family is committed to flexibility and is rewriting the rules of commercial and content creation to bring brands the absolute best of both worlds. For smaller projects, they can do it all: write, shoot, edit, and deliver. For larger projects, they can scale up to include other collaborators while they steer the work and maintain the creative continuity that has been the backbone of their individual and collective success.
The team is currently collaborating with WNBA superstar Elena Delle Donne on the release of her new wine brand, Deldon.
